Wholesale delivery of Fresh and Frozen Seafood products

 

Austin Seafood Products was originally opened as a family business in June 1989 by Clifford and Anna Mae Elliott of Palacios, Texas. The Elliotts moved to Austin after retiring from their former business, Ed Collins Seafood, a crabmeat processing plant in Palacios.

The original Austin location was in a small leased space from Southpoint Seafood Restaurant on South Lamar. As our business expanded, we needed more space and moved one year later to a small warehouse location on Ben White Blvd.

Our current location at 2101 Airport Blvd. features an enclosed processing area, cooler and freezer. Fresh seafood has always been our top priority. To ensure the best quality of product we send our own trucks to the Texas Gulf Coast several days each week to pick up fresh including Black drum, Farm-raised redfish, fresh picked Blue Crabmeat, fresh shucked oysters, and other Texas Gulf Coast seafood products.

We obtain some product flown in daily from as far away as Hawaii, and we receive an eighteen-wheeler twice each week that delivers fresh seafood from Florida and other product imported through Miami.

Although we've grown, our focus still remains on personalized customer relations, timely delivery, and fresh quality seafood. Second generation family members are currently at the helm of Austin Seafood as our growth continues.
